If fluid volume is high it will drive thirst to dilute the the sodium level of the body's fluid. What is the body's response if it has too little fluid/ it wants to concentrate the fluid to raise the sodium level. What is you have no or little output? What symptoms manifest?

There is the treatment burden and the disease burden - to often people accept dialysis treatment burdens as inescapable CKD5 burdens eg washout, dietary restrictions ... it doesn't have to be that way #dialysis

@GrahamAbra @RPANephrology Over 50 years ago, Dr. Belding Scribner said, "If the treatment of chronic uremia cannot fully rehabilitate the patient, the treatment is inadequate." In 2018, there are still no renal rehabilitation programs in the United States. The RPA white paper also fails to address this.

Our upcoming Discovery Gala would not be possible w/o the support of our community. We’d like to extend a special thank you to one of our 2018 Signature Event Sponsors, @ahtinsurance. Your support brings much needed awareness to #kidney disease. #NKCgala #KidneyDisease
