FCC Chairman Brendan Carr's threat of non-renewal of broadcasters' FCC licenses for broadcast news he and the Trump Admin don't like shows there has never been a better time to transfer ownership of the spectrum to broadcasters and abolish the Federal Communications Commission.

The Wall Street Journal today called for the repeal of the Jones Act. I agree. It is an insidious form of corporate welfare that need to go--permanently.

I was really worried about this. 😔 With great sadness, I have now confirmed that several of my relatives (including Viola and Yara pictured here) were killed at Saint Porphyrius Orthodox Church in Gaza, where they had been sheltering, when part of the complex was destroyed as the result of an Israeli airstrike. Give rest, O Lord, to their souls, and may their memories be eternal. The Palestinian Christian community has endured so much. Our family is hurting badly. May God watch over all Christians in Gaza—and all Israelis and Palestinians who are suffering, whatever their religion or creed.

Please vote for the entire Libertarian Party statewide candidate slate in Illinois today. If one of our candidates gets 5%+ of the vote, it will make it easier for Libertarian candidates to get on the ballot in future elections. Thank you for your support and votes!

I went to @SenDuckworth campaign website. There is no Issues page at all. All candidates need to let the public know where they stand on the important issues of the day, and @SenDuckworth fails at that.

If you really wanted to do something for democracy, you would publicly urge your party, which controls the legislature and Governor's office, to change IL's repressive ballot access laws, which systematically blocks candidates from the ballot and reduces options for voters.
