Fox News post-Pres DJT speech analysis lasted less than 90 seconds. Nothing says mortifyingly embarrassing speech more than that. If DJT's asserted facts check out as I think they will, the 25th Amendment cries out for action. We can at least hope, can't we?

I support the Cannabis Administration and Opportunity Act that was reintroduced recently in the US Senate. Ohioans should work with the Drug Policy Alliance on this matter. I urge Senators Husted & Moreno to support this legislation.

I just want to note the passing of a friend and former co-worker from 1976 to 1978 at WTTS Radio, Bloomington, Indiana. I liked and respected Joe Smith. I think he thought the same of me. Gone at 78, no one will again cover sports at Indiana U. and in Bloomington as well as Joe.

I am sorry for Lindsey Graham and his family and friends about his passing, but the appointment of his sister to serve in his place in the US Senate for 5.5 months is one more example of the unseriousness of US politics. We Americans all pay a price for that day in and day out.

Sen. Bernie Moreno sides with Sen. Warren to take workers to the cleaners even worse than now by removing the Social Security payroll tax cap. Bad idea. Better ideas: have lower annual COLAs, raise the retirement age (we're living longer) and max benefit of $50k per year or less.

Thank you Senators Paul, Collins, Murkowski & Cassidy for voting to get the US out of its worst foreign policy blunder in history. And, no thanks to Sen. Jon Husted for voting to keep the US in it.

How many of the things done by the U.S. government harm the American people?

New Trustees report on SS & Medicare is out. Congress should have taken action on the unsustainable Social Security program decades ago. Yet, I'm sure they are just going to continue to do nothing on this issue, which will only make the inevitable changes all the more difficult.

Eternal gratitude to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for this nation. We can best honor them by not adding more names to that sacred roll.

Mercifully, the delusion and drivel from the Boastmaster General of the United States lasted only 18:29 last night. Wouldn't it be great if the head of the Executive Branch didn't sound as if he were an inarticulate teenager (or senile old man, for that matter)?

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr's threat of non-renewal of broadcasters' FCC licenses for broadcast news he and the Trump Admin don't like shows there has never been a better time to transfer ownership of the spectrum to broadcasters and abolish the Federal Communications Commission.
