Heck of a game winner by Alex Newhook to win the series for Montreal. It was the series I was most looking forward to in round one and it lived up to the hype. Buffalo/Montreal should be a really fun second round series and Canadiens will have to adjust to different style quickly

@arizona60622 Even if that was the intent, I think 99% of guys see the open shooting lane and bomb away into a shot Oettinger likely saves and has a clean view of. Still an elite feel for that situation either way.

@BillSpaulding I want to believe it was a magical read because I’m a huge Quinn Hughes fan, but after watching it a dozen or so times, Kaprizov and Hartman both on the weak side in position for the tip.

The creativity to intentionally shoot it at Lyubushkin’s skates (which you can tell by where he is looking when he shoots) while playing at that speed at such an intense moment in the game is off the charts. One of the best plays I’ve seen all playoffs.

HELLO AGAIN! 👋 Allyson Felix, the most decorated female track and field athlete in Olympic history, tells TIME that she is coming out of retirement to pursue a spot at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics at age 42. Her goal is to qualify for the Olympic Trials and make the relay pool. She last competed at the 2022 World Championships in Eugene, Oregon. According to TIME, Felix pitched the idea to her brother and business partner Wes last June with a formal presentation titled "Project Six" as a reference to her attempt to make a sixth Olympic Games. A full training schedule is set to begin in October under longtime coach Bobby Kersee. She expects to return to competition sometime in 2027. She doesn't expect to compete regularly on the global circuit in an effort to try and stay close to her two children (7-year-old daughter Camryn and two-year-old son Trey).

Hard to describe how incredible a performance this is. He held a 4:33 mile pace through the marathon. 99% of people in the world couldn’t stick with him for even the first quarter mile at that pace.

@the_bonnfire @DanielKarell Fair point. I’m curious if the “no general parking” at MetLife was sprung on them recently, as it has just become public. Due to location, most drive to MetLife for Jets/Giants/concerts. Part of what is creating this NJT issue is the sheer volume of trains needed with no parking.

This has been FIFA's approach to the World Cup for decades. The fact that the NJ government couldn't see this coming is mind-boggling, even if it's a new administration from the one that agreed to the deal. No plan whatsoever is embarrassing.

With the East playoff matchups set, I frankly think we couldn’t have asked for much better in terms of matchups that should produce great series. I’m most excited for Tampa-Montreal. When these teams played last week, not only was it a 2-1 finish, but there were 126 combined PIM!
