As the “only Tigers in the village”, we would love to drop a message from one of our wonderful Tigers into the chat, just to remind them who is the better club, following that great win at the Stoop earlier on this season.

Dearest @LeicesterTigers my son and I need your help! Sadly we live some distance from the motherland of Leicester. But, each week, my son loving adorns his Tigers shirt for training at our local club Chobham, in Surrey.

@Farmer_Tom_UK Hi Tom……. Take your point on this in terms of the bigger things happening elsewhere. Would also argue is there ever a good time to bring up other issues as there already seems to be something else going on. This is an important issue for a lot of people….

@Farmer_Tom_UK Of this, let alone the arduous task of trying to gain some form of apology by the government. As with many things in the world we live in, whether on a global, national or local level, it’s about building awareness.

@Farmer_Tom_UK Many came back after the tests, completely unaware how the had been affected by the radiation. The knock on effect for their families being many children being born with defects or awful illnesses. The result has been a fight for decades to at least gain some Govt recognition

@Farmer_Tom_UK Particularly this local to Peterborough as a lot of forces families were affected by it with many personnel based close by at the likes of Cottesmore, Wittering etc. Also, it’s more than just the personnel who had to go to the tests, with very little choice.
