My pals were surprised at today's Haliburton Trail run where Canada's Prime Minister had a solid top 60 overall finish (at age 60) in the hilly 26km off road run. Not too many world leaders could come close to that accomplishment at any age. Kudos PM Mark Carney on the run.

• very few EVs need a full charge every second day. The average Canadian passenger car is driven ~ 300 km/week, which require less than a full charge once a week
• most EV charging is done at home, and most of that during overnight, when demand on the grid is at its lowest

Ontario needs around 95 to 115 million kWh of electricity per day. Currently we have a little over 10 million registered vehicles in Ontario. If we switched to all Electric & only half of that amount (5 million) charged each day to a full charge it would require 375 million kWh of electricity. That is 3 times the amount of electricity we use right now! EV mandates are a disaster waiting to happen.

Why are Temporary Foreign Workers always starting at the wage of $36? As a Canadian worker I don’t get paid that much. Also why are Flight Attendants fighting so hard for fairer wages.
