🤬 Sickening - An Amazon driver is facing up to five years in prison after allegedly stealing a cat while delivering a package. The incident was caught on video.
Carl Crowther, the cat’s owner, was shocked when he watched the doorbell footage. He saw Stancu, wearing a high-visibility jacket, grabbing Nora in the front yard.
Hours later, he posted the footage online and received a message from the Amazon driver.
“Hello — I have your cat," it read.
Stancu has now appeared at Bradford Magistrates' Court, where he pleaded guilty to stealing a cat.
District Judge Alexander Boyd said the offence was too serious for just a financial penalty, and was considering "all options".
