GOOD NEWS: Now there's a camera mod that lets you achieve this, and it is way better than I expected! The left video is vanilla and right video camera angle is very similar to Witcher 3 and God of war 2018. There are tons of other options that lets you experiment even further, but I found my sweet spot for it. I tested it in combat too and it works flawless. Modding community is just awesome in PC Gaming man!

@EnglishShibby Same. There’s no debate the Witcher is obviously the better made game I mean it’s a masterpiece but there really is something about the endless possibilities and exploring that make crimson so amazing.

After playing these back to back I gotta say crimson desert has got its claws in me deeper than the Witcher 3 ever did. It’s truly been a great start to 2026

Seeing comparsion between Crimson Desert and Cyberpunk 2077, I find it so odd cause this how Cyberpunk looked at launch lmfao. Crimson Desert is nowhere near that, and devs are working so fast on it.

Pearl Abyss provided @digitalfoundry with the PC equivalent visual settings for the PS5 and PS5 Pro PS5 Pro runs most basic settings at ultra settings (textures, model quality, lighting) and has better ray tracing. Now we're talking, the Pro is an excellent upgrade

My suggestions for Crimson Desert: 1. Real skip option for cutscenes 2. Option to skip walk-and-talks 3. Simplify the controls 4. Fix DLSS/shadows issues 5. Add sexy female armor for Damiane 6. Draw distance setting to eliminate object pop-in 7. Better quest instructions
