@GlasgowCC I’m not @GlasgowCC biggest fan, but demolishing what’s left is the right decision. I can’t believe how many people are “outraged” and “upset” who likely didnt even know or care about its history before last week, is an annoying sign of the times.

@OssianLore I’ve lived through them all, but I see what Manchester, Liverpool and Belfast (as examples) have done and we are so far behind them now, they have better residential / commercial mixes in the city centre & usage of historical buildings.

It can be easy to forget how low the nadir to which Glasgow had sunk in the 20th century, and was still in by the turn of the 21st. Glasgow has fallen some say. I say Glasgow is still on it's rise and has yet to peak 📈
