Good to see the Glasgow Central concourse look a bit more like itself today, with the removal of the steel barriers that had cordoned off the areas around the Gordon and Union St entrances since the fire in March. Both entrances and streets will fully reopen this Friday #Glasgow

Behind the scenes... 🧽 🧽 Our teams have been busy getting Glasgow Central ready ahead of the reopening of the Union Street and Gordon Street entrances next week.

One week today, these gates will swing open once more, welcoming Glaswegians to Scotland's busiest railway station. We’ve worked tirelessly behind the scenes to prepare for this. Glasgow Central returns to normal, with all entrances open on Friday, 17 July. 🥰

We're pleased the Gordon & Union St entrances to Glasgow Central will re-open on 13 July. But we think the Argyle St entrance is best - it has this wonderful new tiled artwork for which we gave a grant - a reproduction of a Margaret MacDonald Mackintosh ad for Drooko umbreallas.

We're seeing delays to @ScotRail services through Glasgow Central low-level following sightings of young people trespassing on the railway near Carmyle earlier. Our @NetworkRailSCOT team are out patrolling the area. Stay safe. Stay off the tracks.
