Nope, it’s an entertainment product manufactured and sold to generate revenue, to customers who voluntarily decide they want to purchase the product, in a market that determines if the product is worth the price. Doesn’t mean the product can’t be deeply emotional and personal.

I have a soft spot in my heart for the Kansas Mizzou rivalry and it’s been a treat to call the last five. But anyone who was there today knows that game belongs in Lawrence or Columbia. You can argue about game time and tickets but that’s all minutiae. Put it back on campus.
