I was told in July 2025 that my defaulted student loans were “Paid in Full” by the Department of Education. I believed them. I took out new loans and stayed in school at Indiana Tech to finish my degree. Now they’re saying that letter was sent in error and I’m back in default — even while I’m currently in school. The DOE gave me official paperwork I relied on, then reversed it without warning. This is how broken the system is. People trying to better their lives through education are getting jerked around by conflicting letters, bad communication, and zero accountability. I’ve filed disputes and reached out to my senators. If you’ve dealt with the Default Resolution Group or similar issues, speak up. This needs to change.

@its_The_Dr Live by the sword you die by the sword. I know it's hard to lose a family member. However, the women was justified. Don't break the law.

The United States is a constitutional republic that uses democratic processes. We are not a pure/direct democracy (where citizens vote directly on every law), but a representative democracy operating within a republic. We elect representatives to make decisions on our behalf — that's the 'democratic' part — while the Constitution sets the rules, protects individual rights, and limits majority power so it doesn't become tyranny. This is why the Pledge of Allegiance says 'to the Republic for which it stands.' Benjamin Franklin famously replied when asked what kind of government they had created: 'A Republic, if you can keep it.'

People who sleep naked… do y’all ever think about emergency situations? Like, what’s the plan if someone breaks into your house? 🤔

A pack of blacks surround two White girls sitting on a bench. One White girl is holding her baby. The blacks recording are telling the others “take the baby, take the baby, that’s why she not fighting, dam Dey really dat scared to fight, take the baby.” (They think it’s funny) The black attacks and the baby lands face first on the concrete. Pay attention to the joy it brought to the black in the blue shirt. He dances in excitement. What if this was your daughter or grandchild? The “war on whites” is not a myth.

@dspisaracist @RevRayCistman I understand that it will take time. We have to start somewhere with it. I think if we do it'll take 30 years and 10 years before we see any improvement. There are no appropriate steps we can take to solve the root problem.

@BillyRise @RevRayCistman .....take decades to enact properly, if it would work at all. But the ground on which were standing while we try to do that is quickly eroding away. And once we lose a strong society then there is no longer a higher standard to bring people up to. Only drastic measures fix this.

Most of these issues you see with that is these ultra blue states like California. The prison systems have normally been used for warehousing. Look at, I beileive, the Netherlands as an example of good sentencing guidelines. They are one of the countries with the lowest imprisonment rate.

@BillyRise @RevRayCistman ....criminals being released from jail before trial or not even being prosecuted in the first place has allowed many criminals to continue to hurt and kill people because of these new permissive policies. I'm not seeing the positive picture you are. I'm seeing things get worse.

After being away for repairs for nearly a month, our flag is finally back where it belongs — waving proudly again under these cloudy night skies. Seeing it catch the wind tonight reminded me just how much it means. No matter what, this is still our country… and this flag will always wave. Grateful to have her flying once more.

Better path forward: Dial down heavy race framing. Focus on universal drivers that help everyone — stronger families, quality education/skills, evidence-based justice reform (tough on crime + smart on unnecessary incarceration), and personal agency. Data shows progress is happening when we target real factors (culture + behavior + opportunity + policy). Whites, Hispanics, and others facing similar challenges (rural poverty, opioids, gangs) need the same tools. What programs or reforms have the strongest evidence in your view? Let's prioritize results over rhetoric.

Progress from Reforms Good news: Later studies show real declines thanks to sentencing reforms, reduced drug penalties, and smarter policies. Lifetime imprisonment risk for Black men has nearly halved for recent cohorts. Whites and Hispanics in tough situations benefit from the same approaches. sentencingproject.org commons.wikimedia.org Key sources: Robey, Massoglia & Light (2023): pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37435965/ Sentencing Project: sentencingproject.org/reports/one-in…

Race rhetoric often divides us more than it helps. When I talked about education in places like Ethiopia or Liberia, I meant practical skills programs (farming, tech, literacy) that reduce poverty-driven violence in low-education areas. Non-profits there are showing real results. [Attach neutral visual: e.g., students in an African education program or skills training chart] We're all in this together — solutions should focus on what works universally.

@BillyRise @RevRayCistman The 1970's is where it all started to fall apart for black culture in the US. Massive increases in fatherless family rates, massive increases in drug addiction followed not to long after by the music industry promoting gang culture really damaged the black community.
