@kingarthas21 @Fw_Parkr Unfortunately chocobo numbers have not been touched since ARR. The aggro you generate by raw damage output alone out scales the increased emnity that a tank chocobo is capable of.
And that's not even taking into consideration you need rank 10 for them to learn an AOE skill.

@Dain29227805 I don't see how that's relevant. ALL forms of comp pokemon are completely different to the single player experience, and so however the single player game is formatted should not be taken into account when discussing what should be an official competitive format

@BillySaurus_rex @sham_exe I can make the same argument but even more egregious for the official format being doubles… there’s like 4 double battles in every game at most. If we’re lucky we get (1) named npc or a duo that battles in a doubles style per geme.

everyone who complains about it being "too weak" in a playthrough aren't using it right it's not a sweeper, it's a bulkier support pokemon with dual screens, leech seed, taunt, coil, ect. expecting it to sweep whole fights is like like asking a fish to climb a tree,

@hakkdji @sham_exe There must be some misunderstanding because I was not implying that 6v6 lacks depth, in fact I very much understand how much depth goes into 6v6 gameplay and team building. My point is that approaching single player pokemon like it's 6v6 just needlessly drags out easy battles

@MoxieBoosted "Rage quit" is a lot like "try Harding" in the sense that it's an overused term that more often than not is simply a projection. Unless you can physically see your opponent crashing out, you can't really claim they're quitting out of frustration.

I need new players to understand that when somebody forfeits in pokemon champions its not a "rage quit". Sometimes it can be, but in a turn based game like pokemon youre just acknowledging that you dont have any outs and dont want to waste you or your opponents time.

Anyone saying Champions is p2w is deluded. You're telling me I can get a tier 0 team for $2.99 (HOME GTS) and spend an extra $6.99 for convenience? I got Mega Floette from offering a Wailord. I'd have to spend over $50 to get a fresh account a T1 deck in Master Duel if I'm lucky.

@Haardonn @Benjunjerman @DCTILMON Semantics aside; Sure. I'm not super tuned into what goes on in BSS and it could be used more than I think it is. Maybe I'm wrong, if a 6v6 game mode does wind up happening, I hope it is successful and people are happy with it. I'll shrug my shoulders and accept it.

@Haardonn @Benjunjerman @DCTILMON It's not cope, I don't hope a 6v6 gamemode never comes to champs, nor am I trying to win or feel superior to singles players. I just don't see a world where a 6v6 mode happens, and if it does, I don't think it would be what you think you want.

The first time a “Full Battle” was shown in the Pokemon Anime was in the Orange Island challenge. Every other battle has been 3v3.
Pokemon has been trying to shorten the time a battle could take place since BW and 6v6 HAS NEVER been a VGC format…

@DCTILMON My main grip is the continued departure from 6v6 Singles. It is literally the primary gameplay style in all the base games, and the anime. Exhausted rhetoric, but I'm exhausted of not being able to play 6v6 on official ladders.
