The club game has become quite farcical Kickouts/wind/coin toss having ridiculous affect on the game Most teams are playing the exact same way. Most games are - zig-zag up the field - 11v11 - work a shot Athleticism rules Very little kicking Less risky kicking than ever Loads of slow ponderous play. Big pick clubs are hammering smaller teams more and more. Some of the scorelines are bananas, between teams that were competitive last year. The rules , or at least some of the rules, are failing 98% of the playing population.
