@ConanDoherty Because that is the normal time for a referees report? Well 24 hrs for disciplinary issues. Unless you think a referee should be automatically overuled if its on TV.

I don't know mate. I think watching everything good about this team and this manager come together so perfectly on their biggest stage, scoring screamers and grabbing their chance of a trophy with so much conviction - and not tanking their league season to do so - was pretty great

Might be strange to say, but I actually think winning it by a one goal margin, hanging on in added time like #THFC did is actually a better moment. 🤷‍♂️ Villa fans and players knew they had won for half an hour before the final whistle, which showed at FT, whilst Spurs players all collapsed to the ground and tears flooding. That moment when Casemiro’s overhead kick went wide will live with me forever and I personally think is a better single moment than winning 3-0…

People like to call Unai Emery a Europa League manager as if it's disparaging. As if he's ever been anywhere that could've done more (one basket case where one manager in their history has won UCL). As if he hasn't dragged his clubs on unbelievable Champions League journeys anyway. As if Villa weren't relegation fodder under two previous managers and talk of even a dream about any Europe was laughed at. As if I'm not completely in love with him.

People are having arguments about provincials that no-one was really challenging. The problem with them was they were so connected to the All-Ireland path which was unfair and unbalanced and weird. Most people said they could stand on their own and that's basically what they're doing now

@CurrentJams I think you agree with me? I've been saying the provinces shouldn't be connected to the championship. And Kildare and Westmeath have to reach that final because of the league. And Donegal GOT beat which did nothing to them... because of the league!!

@ConanDoherty They beat Donegal and it did nothing for them. That’s the point! It happens every year because the provinces are uneven. Next year Kildare & Westmeath will likely have to reach a provincial final to play Sam Maguire football, while Munster will be artificially carved up
