Judge Raquel West was seen torching 18-year-old Caden James Fontenette before handing out the sentence. "There was a time some years ago that there really wasn't even a question... "You don't have a good likelihood of being successful if I were to put you on probation... I'm going to sentence you to a term of 25 years." Officers Zachary Rutherford and his trainee Michael Hazel responded to the intersection of Fulton and Lafayette avenues in West Baltimore. Rutherford approached Moorehead, who was standing over a woman on the ground while holding a large kitchen knife. Police have not identified the woman, but she is a Baltimore City resident. According to department spokesperson Nadeau, there is no indication that Moorehead and the woman were related or knew each other.
