Big news! Today I released an official MCP server for x64dbg Automate 🤖 I've been using it to deal with tricky obfuscation, one-shot simple vulnerabilities, perform fingerprinting, automate repetitive annotations, and more. #ReverseEngineering #MCP

@hrdwnhd Sorry for the delay - I don't use this site often. Feel free to ping me in the /r/ReverseEngineering discord. The link is in the sidebar. My display name on there is "pilfer".

@baileycyber My workaround for this is to usually check to see if they have a mobile app with the same functionality + different API and use that. If that doesn't work, try with no CAPTCHA response field. If that doesn't work, deathbycaptcha service or the like :)

The new shellfire v0.9 is out, and should be available in Kali shortly! To demonstrate some of the new capabilities, I wrote this article about using shellfire to exploit a retired @hackthebox_eu machine. 😈 Shellfire: From OCR to RCE unix-ninja.com/p/shellfire:fr…

@byt3bl33d3r What was the delta between IE8 release and *actual* functional deprecation? Probably around that long.

I guess my question is, how many years should the excuse of "backwards compatibility" be able to hold water? 5? 10? There are literally insecure defaults in AD that have been around for over 10 years

At what point does "backwards compatibility" become an excuse to normalize security flaws? 🤷🏻‍♂️

@d0nutptr That’s correct haha. I panic a little before each commit 😎. My point was that you’re doing cool stuff - own it! Your code is clean. The project is useful. Your talk was informative and fun. Everything I’ve seen you put out has been 🔥. You’ve got this.

I need to find a small discord of experienced rust folks to join. I'm in some of the major rust ones but it's so intimidating trying to share anything in there. anyway, released dacquiri 0.5.0 crates.io/crates/dacquiri

"Running a successful open source project is just Good Will Hunting in reverse, where you start out as a respected genius and end up being a janitor who gets into fights." Quote attributed to @cra, and I don't think I've ever seen anything more true posted.

I’m so sick of low effort “engagement twitter”. We don’t need more too 10 lists of GitHub repos you stole from somewhere else.
