@iamcs2kitchen Idk about keyboard but if i put my mouse above 2000hz the game and the mouse feel mudy , laggy and floaty idk why , especially the new mouses superstrike or supelright x2 , i only use superlight 1 mouse 1000 hz that feel good , i have 7800x3d rtx 5070 ti ….

Keyboard inputs are just on/off and have no effect on performance. In CS2 every tick has 64 buckets for checking input state as a fraction. The higher your polling rate, the higher your chances to hit an early subtick fraction. (faster)

Most of the optimizations CS2 is getting come from improvements to the Source 2 engine, largely driven by work done for Deadlock. 🙃

Framerate goes above the locked driver level value (500) with the version 572.60. This has been observed with older versions of driver software in 2024. Might want to take a look @CounterStrike @nvidia

Hundreds of things, it depends a lot on your system so it is a case of trial and error with multiple settings across CS itself, Windows, nVidia Control Panel, nvidia profile inspector and driver software. You can use the internet to learn about all of this crap, but it can be terribly time consuming. I can happily help you go through the process if you have an nVidia card, as I have not researched any AMD issues, dm for my discord anytime.
