BREAKING: The UK judiciary orders the death of the little patient #IndiGregory tomorrow at 2 pm 🇬🇧, despite the fact that the roman Bambino Gesù Hospital has offered to treat her in Italy and the Italian Government has granted Italian citizenship to the little girl to allow the transfer. English judges are ordering the death of an Italian citizen, based on a gruesome euthanasia parameter of "dignity of life". We are falling back into the worst mistakes of human history.

Australia also had (virtually) "no flu" in 2020/21, but coincidentally the same number of deaths normally attributable to flu were attributed to COVID. Note also how crude deaths increase in linear fashion from 2020 onwards. People were dying.

@BioEunuch @HelenTeaPot @nicksmi33180797 @AshBloomfield But the 'pull forward effect' wasn't relevant in NZ because we didn't have a "lower number of candidates" in the "mortality pool". Quite the opposite, as a number of old people were artificially kept alive.

@BioEunuch @HelenTeaPot @nicksmi33180797 @AshBloomfield 38,574 people died in 2022, up 3,642 from 2021. However 2,400 people died of COVID in 2022, leaving only an additional 1,242 deaths. Given that deaths in 2020 and 2021 were less than expected, it just evened things out. Which is why there was no overall excess death.

But the death rate only spiked in mid 2022. So a year later. Four out of every five deaths in 2022 were to people aged 65 years and older.

@BioEunuch @HelenTeaPot @nicksmi33180797 @AshBloomfield The rise in total deaths in NZ track exactly with COVID deaths. That explains it very simply. Otherwise you have to account for both the huge lag between vaccine rollout and death AND why there must have been a big drop in deaths by other causes (made up for by vaccine deaths).
