This device, developed by a Galway-based company @LuminateMed, arising (I think) from the @BioInnovate_Ire programme, will change the world, for as long as cytotoxic chemotherapy is still in use, which is for the foreseeable future. The reason I think it will change the world for cancer patients is that it is patient-controlled, and mobile. No extra treatment chair time, or staff time required, for an effective solution to chemotherapy-induced hair loss. Congratulations @AaronDHannon, in this case at least, I do think that CNN are on to something!
