The LA Mayoral Race Is About Far More Than Los Angeles Spencer Pratt winning would send shockwaves through the entire California political cabal. They would burn the house down before willingly surrendering power. This Los Angeles mayoral election carries consequences far beyond LA, or even California itself. It is becoming a symbolic battle for the soul of the country — between a decaying political class clinging to ideology, patronage, and moral theater, and a public increasingly exhausted by corruption, incompetence, censorship, and civic collapse. The real fear among the ruling class is not Spencer Pratt. It’s the possibility that ordinary people may finally stop obeying the script. Do we continue allowing ideological extremists and failed elites to hollow out American cities while demanding applause for the destruction? Or do citizens finally reclaim the right to question, dissent, and fight back against the systems failing them in plain sight?

The longer you stay on carnivore, the more you realise chicken is the saddest meat in the supermarket. Not fat enough to fuel a man through the afternoon. You finish the plate and your stomach is already drafting a complaint letter. What fat it does have is heavy in omega-6. Inflammation in a goujon. The breast is wet cardboard with a hint of disappointment. Needs marinades, glazes, sauces, rubs, and a brave face just to get it down. The thigh is the best the bird has to offer, which tells you everything. I used to eat chicken without a second thought. Now a plate of it tastes like an apology. The food industry adores it because it's cheap to produce, ships easily, and the margins are excellent. They call it "lean and healthy." Lean, in this case, is doing the heaviest lifting in the English language. It means "structurally a meat, nutritionally a polite suggestion." A cow gives you a meal. A chicken gives you a portion. There's a reason no civilisation in human history has built itself on the back of a poultry farm.

Every Oregonian needs to wake up to the fact that every aspect of our elections are rigged. From the registration to the printing, to the handling, to the envelope design, to the delivery, to the return, to the counting, to the law, to the process. EVERY FEATURE. EVERY FUNCTION. EVERY PROCEDURE. They stole our state. They want our nation.

Wanna hear something crazy? I started drawing Social Security at 62, and I retired as a self employed carpenter just over 2 years ago. I have retirement investments, but I haven’t touched them yet. Here’s the crazy part: I pay more in income taxes now than I ever did when I was working. Make it make sense? I guess it’s because I no longer have business deduction write offs, not sure? All I know is that I think it blows. Taxation is 100% theft in my humble opinion.

Yeah it sucks. If I updated my withholding to match single it's a big amount they take out each check. Trying to live on a single income month to month I had to leave it. They really need to have some kind of help for widows without dependents. Even for a year or so after to help the transition.

I don’t make a huge income. I’m single and I pay taxes at the pump, on purchases, at the dmv and on my income. I don’t have a lot left over but the government made me pay even more today. They waste it, steal it, launder it and feel they are entitled to more, all while funding NGOs that use it to subvert the constitution. It’s sick.

Talking to a friend on here about his 24th anniversary and it got me thinking how rare staying committed to a single person for life really is. Who here can say they have been married to the same person for over 20 years? Cause that is impressive and something to be proud of!

I did it when I was younger for about 8 months and loved it! I requested to work Friday and Saturday nights because I'd get slammed and I loved the challenge. Then the cooks at the end of the shifts would try to swamp me with their cookware lol They were impressed it didn't phase me and I was a girl lol Good times 😊

Our dishwasher is one of the highest-paid positions in the restaurant. If a line cook calls out, you always have 2-3 that can cover. If a server calls out, others can take more tables. If a dishwasher calls out, the entire restaurant is at a standstill. It's easily an 80K per year job in CA.
