@bobservablelife @neilhardy999 @clarehm123 A lot of surgeries are stopping the automatic repeats now and you have to reapply every month for just 28 days worth, ok unless you are a tad forgetful and run out before reordering

@neilhardy999 @clarehm123 This is what was left in Mother-in-law's house, took three trips to carry it to the car. In some cases enough to have lasted her nearly 3 years! Seemingly down to automatic repeats. The level of waste seems extraordinary when you would think the amounts issued would be tracked.

Hooray! Migrant action in S Monmouthshire! TWO palpita vitrealis last night in a total of 14 of 12. Only Nfy was a cypress carpet. 2 pine, one common marbled carpet, and a green brindled crescent best of the rest. @MigrantMothUK #mothsmatter #teammoth

@StarBede Understand she loves this guy and she must be heartbroken! However he can’t feel the same about her, partnerships/marriage isn’t about frail egos it’s about partnership, making a life together not about who earns more!

My friend got engaged in May this year and their traditional wedding was meant to be in November. She called me yesterday in tears to tell me the engagement had been called off. She got a new job last month and the salary is so huge that she will earn three times more than the guy. He was uncomfortable with it and asked her to reject it or the engagement would be called off. He said she won't respect him if she earns that much. All efforts to convince him proved ineffective and she agreed to call the engagement off. I can't believe this is happening in 2024!

No pulse raising Pinions but a steady 22 of 9 in the moth trap. Best was a Sallow SE VC11

Saved from a damp Wogan by this Green-brindled Crescent NFG, undoubtedly a result of @ivysuckle ‘s recent charm. Thank you Dud 💚🙏 It even brought a Silver Y along for company! @pmandrews1973 @BCWarwickshire

@titchfieldhaven @hantsconnect That’s fantastic and what a day the sites having a deaths-head hatching and a brown booby flying over! Worth doing the lottery tonight

This awesome caterpillar was found on the reserve 6 weeks ago, and has now hatched into a stunning Death's-head Hawkmoth, with the distinctive 'skull' shape on the back of the head. It will be released back onto the reserve this evening. Another wonder of nature! @hantsconnect

@adesturner Exactly my thinking too! So much that I’m trying to work out the best way to waterproof my trap this weekend so I can do it in all weathers 😂😂
