DALL-E’s amazing images are popping up all over the web. That software uses something called a diffusion model, which is trained to remove noise from static until a clear picture is formed. Turns out diffusion models can design proteins too!

@BishopGuildford Wow - the most stunnin puffin pics I’ve ever seen - in what looks like quite remarkable weather for Pembs! 😉 The gannets might also have been day visitors (from Grassholm Island) & I hope Reggie was amongst Razorbills (he’s the proud emblem of Pembs Coast Nat Park).

Amazing visit to Skomer Island today. Guillemots, kittiwakes and razorbills aplenty, along with oyster catchers, gannets, wheatears, pipits, seals, rabbits and a guest appearance from a short-eared owl. But there’s nuffin like a puffin…

Congratulations to Simon Strachan on the 50th anniversary of his licensing as a Lay Reader; he’s preached 573 sermons in that time, just short of one a month, and like fine wine - I’m told - they’ve got better and better. Lovely to catch up with him @StPaulsCamb this morning.
