not sure how I feel about Devil Trigger being something that is unlocked by Dante’s emotions it’s not a damn super saiyan transformation, dante unlocked the power in DMC3 when Vergil stabbed him with the Rebellion, because the Rebellion’s power is the ability to combine

Watched all the dmc show. Overall enjoyed it but there are a bunch of weird choices for retcons that i do not fuck with at all. The entire Makai plotline felt like it was written for a different show and was grafted onto DMC because thats what was greenlit

Keep in mind Dante tried diplomacy with each of them and the only one who was immediately hostile is Beowulf who is a prisoner. Sparda even has disciples in ‘07

Lucia is another artificial Devil, created by Arius. There's only one full blooded demon with humanity, Sparda himself, and he sealed hell.

And even then they tried to humanize Griffon in DMC1 Trish is just the most obvious example, and then again with Lucia in DMC2
