Yes, we dress like this for every anniversary, not just our twenty seventh. Barry opts for nudity, predictably enough.

@Booby_Hill69 @htmljones The accent was not accurate. Hank Azaria has been open about how, when he auditioned, the producers asked him “How offensive can you make it?”

@htmljones Apu was depicted as a casa nova, highly educated, and a successful small business owner. Most things about him wasnt accurate, but his accent was. Then someone got mad about it because he didnt get the job

Chuck Norris, the martial arts champion who became an iconic action star and led the hit series “Walker, Texas Ranger,” has died. He was 86. Norris was hospitalized in Hawaii on Thursday, and his family posted a statement saying he had died Friday morning: It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning. While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace. To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family. He lived his life with faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved. Through his work, discipline, and kindness, he inspired millions around the world and left a lasting impact on so many lives. While our hearts are broken, we are deeply grateful for the life he lived and for the unforgettable moments we were blessed to share with him. The love and support he received from fans around the world meant so much to him, and our family is truly thankful for it. To him, you were not just fans, you were his friends. We know many of you had heard about his recent hospitalization, and we are truly grateful for the prayers and support you sent his way. As we grieve this loss, we kindly ask for privacy for our family during this time. Thank you for loving him with us. variety.com/2026/film/news…

@OhSallyMcMillan @pbscvcm26 I think the last time I heard an actor be that open about not being good with accents was Brad Pitt in a career interview 20 years ago (he explicitly said “I’m from Missouri, and we don’t enunciate well”).

@pbscvcm26 There's way too much evidence of actors not having this level of self awareness and doing a terrible accent in the end for this to be a legit criticism. Good on her for knowing her limits

@kuhan @ArtFunAndStuff @screenrant Presumably, people’s schedules is also why live-action wasn’t viable. Fillion is already starring in one high-profile show, for starters.

@IMDBorg @ArtFunAndStuff @screenrant Yeah, and it was a bad choice. They should have been okay letting Wash be dead. Have him appear as like a ghost/vision in Mal's and/or Zoey's dreams. Hell, Alan's a pretty good director, have him do that so he's on set with everyone all the time.

#NathanFillion has confirmed that Shepherd Derrial "Shep" Book will be returning for the animated #Firefly series. However, since the original actor, Ron Glass, passed away in 2016, Shep will be voiced by a new actor in the reboot. Source: Deadline | Learn More: bit.ly/4cT8xB3

@ArtFunAndStuff @screenrant They chose to make it animated and set between the show and the movie specifically so everyone could be involved (given Wash dies in the film).

@V_R_Ghost @MatthewFerrari Harry Shearer voices a dozen characters on the show, and gets paid the same regardless of how many he does per episode. He didn’t lose his job at all.

@MatthewFerrari I always found it so funny that the only guy who lost his job over the death of George Floyd was the voice of Dr. Hibbert What the fuck did he has to do with that

I think my favorite dvd commentary fact is from Hellboy when Mike Mignola mentions he was upset that the movie got made because before that a different studio would buy the rights every year and he would make 100k for a movie that never happened.
