Lost track of how many trees we’ve planted in our anniversary year. But here’s another 90 going in today - oak whips, next to the wildflower garden recently planted with help from @EnableParks. The pink campions are already showing👏🏻👏🏻. Today’s bit of rain will help.

On Putney Common this morning we saw: Children ✔️ 🐕and their owners✔️🏃 ✔️🌸 ✔️drink cans ❌ beer bottles❌ 🍕 boxes ❌ & even a carpet for the picnic❌ crisp packets🍕enjoy the weather & increased socialisation but take your #litter home or to the big blue bins there for trash

The litter volunteers collected 5 bags of rubbish from the Moat Garden on Sunday. Mostly from the bushes. Shocking really.

Come on!!! The events bin is right there (and empty) yet people keep adding to the full bins on the left! Enjoy the fresh air and your drinks but bin responsibly! A gust of wind takes rubbish into the Thames @PutneyFleur @putneysw15 @Thames21

They're wearing masks all day, every day till it scars them, all to save our lives. You can put one on in a shop for 10 minutes. #WearAMask

Many have been fooled by these winter blooming trees into thinking they are a product of global warming, but they are supposed to flower now. In fact, they flower from November all the way through to April. They are Winter flowering cherries (Prunus x subhirtella 'Autumnalis').
