I’m officially convinced. It was a hoax. The Trump Administration recruited a leftist Kamala Harris voting Trump hater to participate in a staged assassination that would include the shooter getting shot at and then locked in federal prison for the rest of his life. The Kamala Harris voter agreed to this plan, that works against his political and personal interests, because he’s just like a really generous guy. Meanwhile the Trump Administration, despite dastardly planning multiple assassination hoaxes, decided to keep their patsy alive and a permanent liability to them, rather than just killing him like they could have easily done. They did this because they also are really strangely generous in a very odd and specific way. So in summary we have a plot where all parties involved are working against their own interests with no real discernible benefit to any of them. There is no evidence of this plan and it doesn’t even make any intuitive sense and the motives for everyone are unclear if not insane, but still I believe it because I’m a very smart person.

If you want to have a contest over which one of us has done more to effectively advance the conservative cause and registered real wins both culturally and politically, we can do that. You won’t win. A better path for you is to demonstrate a modicum of humility. You were wrong in your fundamental worldview, which is why you were a leftist. You still retain that fundamental worldview, which is why you think it’s okay for gay men to purchase babies — a view so radically far left that even Democrat politicians 15 years ago rejected it. You haven’t even yet successfully extricated yourself from the Left, and yet you’re busy patting yourself on the back and giving yourself credit for rescuing a conservative movement whose fundamental tenets you still reject. Without “former liberals” like me- who’ve actually done the work to bring hundreds of thousands of people to your party- while you’re simultaneously repelling people away- your party would have died stone dead years ago. Advocate for and believe whatever you want- that’s obviously your right. But a little self awareness would be strategically advantageous for you, as you seem to stridently demand that conservatives take up social issues with increasingly dying popularity at the expense of us building our numbers so as to possibly get things done that have mass appeal and affect people’s day to day lives.
