FEMI FANI-KAYODE: AN AMBASSADOR WITHOUT DECORUM By DELE MOMODU To those begging me to ignore FEMI FANI-KAYODE, my apologies, I can't. I know Femi well. He is a bully. But I have plenty time for him. He calls a global brand, Ovation Media Group, defunct. Yet, as recently as February 11, 2026, he still begged me to help him publish on one of our platforms, The Boss newspapers, about the Educational achievements of his family. And I gladly obliged him, after which he sent "Thanks brother. Very kind of you." Is he already suffering from dementia? As for Ovation International, he used our platform to celebrate the birthday of his son, for which we did not charge a kobo. This was what he wrote and sent to me: "Good morning my brother. May I send you videos and pictures of my sons birthday party which took place on 25th. They are great shots and I would appreciate it if you could select a few for your usage... Always and forever my brother. I am proud of you and I wish you well. Keep up the great work." What work or business does Femi do except scavenging for political appointments? With all his boastfulness about his silverspoon status, he has not attained a global brand except for the wrong reasons. His estranged wife, Precious, reached out to me, to speak to Femi to grant her access to their children. She regaled me with unprintable and horrendous tales of Femi's inhumanity to her. I obliged and got Femi and her to reconcile, technically. Femi was so excited that he pestered me for progress on the matter, regularly, including asking me to speak to a female Senator: "I hope you managed to reach her my brother." What more can I do to make Femi happy?.. I understand Femi's strategy. He needs to remain in Tinubu's good books just in case GERMANY falls through and he needs another appointment... AARE BASORUN AKINROGUN DELE MOMODU is a journalist and former Presidential candidate...

Classic case of comic! You joke a lot, this man. Malami didn't frighten the "sitting givernor" when he was a front bencher in late Buhari's cabal; yet didn't succeed in his 2023 gubernatorial sojourn; it is now that he's a "bloody civilian" that he frightens the "sitting governor". Abeg nah! Sofrey sofrey with the illusion

DELE MOMODU: FROM BREAD-HAWKER TO POLITICAL PROSTITUTE AND GLUTTON OF THE AGES Apologies to my dear aburo Kayode Ajulo SAN and others that have said I should leave the Dele Momodu alone. When Dele was at University he was a fraudulent rain maker who claimed to be able to "tie the rain" for people on the day they were having special outdoor events. He duped the owner of a beauty pageant in this way on 1982 collected his money yet the rain still fell. After leaving University he couldn't get a job so he started off as a bread hawker on the street after getting a 3rd class degree in Yoruba at OAU. He was spotted on the street by MKO Abiola who bought him shoes and put him in charge of his Wonder Bakery. He eventually brushed up on his english and spelling and became a journalist and later an Editor in MKO's Concorde Newspaper. He followed MKO around and later betrayed him. After MKO was locked up he attached himself to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and collected handouts from him for years. After that he started taking pictures of people with his Ovation magazine. He failed in all these endeavours and everything he attempted to do always crashed. So he went into politics, ran for President and got one vote. His ambition crashed. He became a spokesman for Atiku and was the only person that did not want power to come to the South in 2023. We are approaching 2027 and he wants power to go back to the North already calling PBAT who once fed him a dictator. Is this guy OK at all? Everything about him eventually crashes and just as he crashed Atiku's campaign and ambition in 2023 so he will crash it again in 2027. Let me go a little further. Dele's pattern of betrayal cannot be denied. It is unmistakable. He called Asiwaju his "friend" and "brother" after collecting money from him in 1996 to feed. When the money stopped flowing from Asiwaju to him, he started to smother and bother his brother from another mother. He said he fled Nigeria because of Abacha, only to flee England to Kano to eat from the same Abachas when Tinubu's money stopped flowing to him. Ile-Ife, where he grew up, is abuzz over how Dele Momodu, who once called Governor Ademola Adeleke his "friend" and "brother" and was dancing different salve moves with Adeleke, is now supporting Adeleke's opponent in the Osun gubernatorial election. Who would have believed the dance parents would now be at loggerheads? All because of Dele's uncontrollable appetite for food. No wonder Gen Z calls him DFFO, Dele For Food Only. Google it! He is indeed a shameless GLUTTON. No wonder he claimed his restraint business in Ghana collapsed. He must have eaten all the food meant for his patrons! From Adekeke, he moved to Nyesom Wike and was always around the dining table at the Rivers State Government House, overeating, according to Wike's testimony. Then all of a sudden, he posted to Atiku, after Wike's money dried up, and started insulting the Wike he was once consulting and consorting with. Atiku would be well-advised to be very afraid of Dele, especially as Peter Obi and Amaechi are eager to spend as well. Who knows? Tomorrow, Dele may not delay in relaying insults on Atiku once he sees a bigger payload from either of those guys. What else can one expect from a bread hawker, political prostitute and GLUTTON of the ages? (FFK)

Do you ever find yourself in a static queue, vehicular or "legediz", while the next queue beside you seems to be moving slowly. The moment you switch lane to the "moving" queue, boom, it becomes static while the one you left starts to move. It happens to me often and can be very very annoying

Bravo! A brilliant analysis you have there. Some people have serious mental health issues, alas, they are unaware of their mental health status. Everyone has a right to choose. They owe no one an explanation for exercising that right. But when you freely exercise your right to choose and you turn yourself to police, questioning and lampooning others for exercising same right, then it's obvious what the problem is...mental health challenge and you need to seek help before you go into the next stage....

Do you ask prospective clients about their political affiliations before accepting their briefs? If you do not, then this anger directed at people who support the Party appears performative. Do you currently have clients who are affiliated with APC? If the answer is yes, then your outrage against its supporters is not grounded in any consistent principle. At best, it comes across as hypocritical. Let me even interrogate the thought process briefly. Is your anger directed at the Party or the humans who make up the Party? If it is against the Party itself, that would be rather comical because a party is only an abstract construct. it is merely a platform. The real actors are the individuals who constitute it. If your grievance is with those individuals, that is somewhat understandable, but it still rests on faulty logic. Many of those individuals can, and often do leave for another party. We have already seen some cross over to ADC recently. When they move, what happens to your anger? Does it migrate with them to their new party, or does it suddenly dissipate?? There is also the question of scope. Is your resentment geographically constrained? Do you only dislike APC in the South-West, or do you extend that sentiment to APC members across the country? I could go on about the flaws in this reasoning, but I will stop here. Beyond the pseudo outrage, however, I find it bizarre that a lawyer would proudly place herself/himself at the forefront of policing people’s political choices. As I already stated in the tweet referenced below, let me reiterate: it is scandalous for a lawyer to publicly advance such an uninformed stance. Our duty, as lawyers, is to educate and sensitise people that they are free to vote for whoever they wish and to support any political party they choose, provided such support is within the bounds of the law. No one should be harassed, bullied, or ostracised because of their political affiliation. It makes no sense at all. Many of our colleagues are card carrying members of APC. Are you suggesting that we should ostracise people because of their political affiliations? Should I disown @tunmishe_ simply because he supports APC? Same way many people keep attacking @egi_nupe Just because he didn't support a particular candidate. We have lawyers who support APC, we also have lawyers who support PDP, LP, ADC, and other political parties. Political freedom is non negotiable. The sooner this is understood, the better. Cheers 🥂.
Bitto Keren K Esq.@KerenKBitto

When I was doing this and publicly dragging friends who voted him on this app, I was called mad, a bully, obsessed. 2026 and we are all seeing the effects of not ostracizing APC supporters but keep shining teeth with them. Fools

Mine was an Àkàrà vendor on Broad Street around 2006. Ẹ̀gbọ́n Súmbọ́lá Oyáwoyè gave me an office space on the 9th floor at Bookshop house during the early days of building @OxygenBroadband. There's this Àkàrà lady and her very pretty sister me and the boys from KKON TECH (owners of @FOBroadband) will always buy from every morning. The pretty sister too a liking to me. She will ensure I get a couple more pieces of Àkàrà than I paid for. As I got busier and hardly went down to get the Àkàrà myself she will send some to me through the boys. I didn't need to pay. It was so bad that the boys started singing @9iceofficial song to me. It became my official Àkàrà song. 🎶Bòo bá fẹ́ bèrè ní, bèrè ní l'ọwọ́ aya mi. Aya mi ló n dín 'kàrà yẹn...🎵 Those were the days....🤣🤣

There was this restaurant I used to go buy lunch at work when I was in Nigeria. I noticed over time that when I get back to the office, there will be more meat than I payed for and I always thought maybe it’s because I’m a long time customer. One day, when I went to get food, the lady called me “Ome” (a short form of my name which means “mine”) and I jokingly told her “please oh, I’m engaged. I saw her countenance change and this lady literally told me “and I’ve been adding extra to your food.” The next two times I went to get food, the quantity literally reduced 😂😂😂. I sha changed vendor before I chop otapiapia. 😂😂😂😂

It was said in the past that you cannot be ignorant and loud at the same time. Unfortunately, these days, the loudest people are the confidently ignorant one. Before you speak on a matter, in public, learn to read & have a fair understanding of the subject matter...someone called in, on a live radio show and said the crisis in the gulf has nothing to do with fuel price hike(a global phenomenon ooo) in naija...mentioning distance and all sorts. I sighed, I tire, I no get strength

I recently received a WhatsApp gofundme appeal for a 9ja family about to become homeless. These were guys who sold everything back home because of tweets like this. I was looking for a part of your tweets that says average monthly rent for a room apartment is 1 million naira. That will be up north by the way. Down south, your rent will average 2m naira. I see people queue up at food banks with blacks outnumbering the black. What is wrong with you guys? Must you make 9ja all black and bad?

Some Nigerians, home and away, are irredeemably cantankerous. They behave like those Israelites in the bible story that spent 40yrs wandering on a journey that was meant to be for 40 days due to endless nagging, complaints, lack of faith, disobedience and ingratitude. Weirdos left, right and centre

She won’t be the first nor the last. But when shit hits the fan, she and her likes will make videos asking Abike Dabiri for help, and then the people supporting her for this video will turn around and start insulting Abike Dabiri, saying how other countries have been evacuating their citizens. Nigeria is really cursed with useless citizens, from top to bottom.

My primary school classmates would be "kneeling outside in the sun" while I would be seated comfortably in the classroom alone. In my secondary school, WO2 would be invited to "whip" my classmates while I would be "a spectator". Back in the days, my beloved popsie threw up a challenge to my siblings & I; "take the 1st position and ask for anything". Guess what I asked for? He was equally surprised...
