@SamaHoole They didn't fail at all. They successfully scammed more than enough money from investors to make themselves wildly rich.

Plenty Unlimited raised $940 million from Jeff Bezos, SoftBank, and Eric Schmidt. They were going to feed the world with vertical farms. Lettuce grown indoors, under LEDs, using 90% less water and no pesticides. The pitch was beautiful. The decks were elegant. The press releases were full of words like "revolution" and "future." They filed for Chapter 11 in March 2025. The valuation had collapsed by 99% from its $1.9 billion peak. Bowery Farming raised $700 million at a $2.3 billion peak valuation. Backed by Fidelity, Google Ventures, Justin Timberlake. Shut down in November 2024. Fourteen indoor farming companies filed for bankruptcy in 2025. Combined funding burned: $1.37 billion. Of capital. Vaporised. The reason every single one of them failed is the same reason a farmer in Herefordshire with 180 cattle, no LEDs, no robotics, and no Series C, is still in business in 2026. Grass is free. Rain is free. Sunlight is free. The cow does not require a $200 million data centre to function. She is the data centre. She runs on weather, processes cellulose, outputs protein, and her firmware has been stable for ten thousand years. The pitch decks promised to reinvent agriculture. Agriculture was already invented. It was just in a field, looking the other way.

@uglytruck3r Not even sure how he did that. That appears to be a flatbed with nothing sticking out to damage the dock door. Also looks like someone ran a water line under the door?

@uglytruck3r The day shift manager did this one day. He hopped in the yard dog to "stay in practice". He never had a cdl. The trailer doors swung around while he was backing in and knocked the door off. He never got in trouble cause the office manager lady liked him and hated us.

Here are photos of Rebecca Grossman’s car after she hit my sons. My 11-year-old, Mark was struck directly by the front of the vehicle, and my 8-year-old Jacob was hit by the side corner. When I look at the deep dents and damage their little bodies left on this high-end luxury SUV, it absolutely crushes my heart. The severity of those dents should give you an idea of the insane speed this car was coming at them at. It makes me pray they didn’t have time to feel any pain.

@ReviewsPossum The only way that line of reasoning would remotely work is if all guns were banned and forcefully removed from all currently legal owners. So take that as proof of the leftoid communist's real intentions.

@Breaking911 That's because the turbines were discovered to have severe production flaws. Those planes have been grounded under a massive recall from the manufacturer, who can't make the replacement turbines for so many engines at once. They can't be flown until the new blades are installed.

>Almost Then they brought in mercenaries from Pakistan and surrounding countries to replace losses and continue brutally suppressing the people Trump promised to save. They're continuing to carry out executions. We make a fake deal they won't honor, cause they never do, and inject money back into that system and they'll wait us out again and go right back to what they were doing for the last 50 years. We'll have accomplished nothing.

Virtually the entire upper echelon of the Iranian military and government were killed in this war, and over 6,000 Iranian military personnel were killed alongside them. Almost the entire Iranian navy has been sunk, and over 200 ballistic missile launchers were destroyed, to say nothing of the infrastructure damage and economic losses that have now befallen the country. Iran's entire economy is imploding. Inflation is over 100%, food and housing shortages are popping up across the country, the unemployment rate for 18-to 40-year-old men is around 50%, and no one knows whether the nation's new Supreme Leader is even alive. You can easily argue that none of this was worth a war in the first place. I've certainly made that argument myself. I still don't think this conflict was worth it. But in what possible way could anyone seriously argue with a straight face that Iran is stronger today than it was in January? Have some damn perspective. You can oppose a conflict without inventing fantasies about how that conflict has played out.
George Boctor@MrGeorgeBoctor

@ChristianHeiens Trump promised; total surrender, support for Iranian protesters, victory. Instead Iran still has uranium, missiles, IRGC, leverage on the strait, sanctions relief 25B$ per NYT. Iran ends war stronger than before! What was the war for, and what were 13 servicemen sacrificed for?

@ndawg_4 @Dubflip Wait, I thought we had to get rid of Freon and use crappy r134 to prevent ozone damage (no mention of how it would get from my car leaking on the ground to over 100,000 feet in the air, but ok). Now the 134 damages the ozone? What?

@Dubflip From what I've seen, all the DIY kits have them. Probably due to some requirement from the EPA to prevent presumed leaks from causing ozone damage (if i had to guess) If you buy cans that require hooking up to an AC manifold, they are less likely to contain it.

@b4igo2 @LindseyGrahamSC The problem is Iran has a huge territory with a huge population and a huge military, and its leadership & military structure are designed to be decentralized.

If it is perceived in the region that a deal with Iran allows the regime to survive and become more powerful over time, we will have poured gasoline on the conflicts in Lebanon and Iraq. A deal that is perceived to allow Iran to survive and possess the ability to control the Strait in the future will put Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Shia militias in Iraq on steroids.

I was thinking … wouldn’t she be at her brother’s wedding this weekend in the Bahamas? Is this another one of the President Cried Wolf situations? What does he want now? Ballroom Arch Greenland Cuba Alberta Are his taxes being spoke about again? Or Epstein files? I’m sorry the little President who cried wolf is getting hard to believe, even if this true.

🚨 HOLY CRAP! President Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump was targeted in an ASSASSINATION plot by an Iranian IRGC-trained terrorist — NYP Mohammad Al-Saadi, an Iraq national who was recently caught by federal law enforcement, "pledged" to take out Ivanka and had a BLUEPRINT of her house in Florida The plot was part of revenge against Trump for the killing of Gen. Soleimani Absolutely terrifying. A former deputy military attaché told the NYP: “After Qasem was killed, he [Al-Saadi] went around telling people ‘we need to kill Ivanka to burn down the house of Trump the way he burned down our house.'" “We heard that he had a plan of Ivanka’s house in Florida." Thank God she's safe, and this terrorist is in custody! 🙏🏻

@Yoc_Star Grandpa paid $30k for his similar sized house in 1960. Hadn't been built yet, first house in a new neighborhood, he got to pick out the floor plan. His payment was $109 a month. That's what they're talking about. They're buttmad at boomers.

The “starter homes for $25k” makes me laugh. I looked up the price of what my parents paid for their house in 1986. $117,500. The average interest rate was around 13%. It was a small 3 bedroom 1 bathroom 1008 square foot home. My room was the smallest and my brothers shared a room. Built in 1941. That was a starter home. It didn’t have a big kitchen or a spacious bathroom or walk in closets. One bathroom for five people. We didn’t have TVs in our rooms either. We didn’t eat out all the time. Food delivery didn’t exist. And it was NOT in the best part of town; you didn’t leave anything outside you didn’t want stolen. Saw it on Zillow, still has the original basement wall panels and flooring 😂
