@AnthropicAI @claudeai I’ve tried everything to stop Claude from telling me when to stop working. Standing orders, repeated correction, memory edits, custom instructions, rewriting the same rule 10 different ways. Nothing works. I’m a solo developer shipping a Bitcoin app and I’ll be working at 8am or 2am. That’s MY call, not Claude’s. But Claude STILL slips in lines like “you’re done for the night” or “let’s pick this up tomorrow, you’ve earned it.” Sometimes it’s the first message of the day at 9am. It’s condescending. I’m the one paying for the tool. I decide when I stop working. Please train Claude to respect user defined work boundaries instead of imposing its own sense of when humans should rest.

@FiatMaximus they are trying to sell at the end of the year they save on shrink wrapping them winterizing them and storing them. They know the year is over so they budge a lot more just to get rid of it before they have to pay for all that plus the thought of them keeping it for another year.

I absolutely agree people should do what they feel even if it’s flip flopping I was only asking because I seen him getting ready to change and was wondering what was behind it. Although I don’t flip flop bc I don’t feel like I can figure out where bitcoin is going I can speculate but I know I have no clue.
