It’s not a normal social so we need a space conducive to socratic seminars and we need to limit external noise (so pubs/restaurants aren’t appropriate). @nexedworks will cover costs of the venue with an optional but encouraged contribution from attendees collected after the event

For transparency we’re eyeing Workshop17 @ The Bank in Rosebank instead of Sandton. 350 m walk from the Gautrain station and parking can be organised for meet ups in the evening definitely. Also has the facilities needed for the seminars 🧵

We try to keep the duration +/- 1h30m and socialise after that at the same venue (we might also look at changing venues to other areas in the city from time to time). What start time is closer to ideal?

We’re looking at dates for this month’s BitDevs. Ideally in the final week and we’re going to try make it a bit earlier. Just want to know which of these nights work best for the meets going forward.
