Bitcoin adoption looks different when it’s experienced, not just explained ⚡₿ At our Bitcoin Pizza Day meetup, @theeasternman showcased KnowledgeBit — a platform that allows organizers to create quizzes and reward winners with Bitcoin, turning learning into an interactive and rewarding experience. Attendees took part in Bitcoin-related quiz sessions filled with learning, fun, and real sats rewards, and for some people, it was their very first time opening up and earning Bitcoin using their @blinkbtc wallets This is the kind of grassroots adoption that truly matters: educating communities, onboarding new users, and creating real Bitcoin experiences through technology built right here in Uganda 🇺🇬 Kabba Timothy has now uploaded the project on @geyserfund to raise support for: • onboarding schools across Uganda • funding sats rewards for future quiz events and learners. 🍕BITCOIN PIZZA DAY 2026 in Kampala at Satoshi hub was bigger than we imagined. Together with @BitcoinKampala we brought together students and Bitcoin communities for a day of learning, fun, and real Bitcoin culture. ⚡ Communities present included @bitcoin_muk @BitDevsKLA , all coming together to learn, connect, and grow the movement . From Bitcoin conversations to games and networking, the energy in the room was unmatched. And yes… 🍕Pizza was absolutely smashed. Special shoutout to Saucy Meat Ball for serving amazing pizza AND accepting Bitcoin payments. Real circular economy in action. 🧡 🔥 Then came the fun: 🃏 Card games ♟️ Chess 🎲 Ludo 💵 Monopoly 🧠 Knowledge Bits by @theeasternman — a Bitcoin-powered game that brought learning and competition together. Bitcoin education works best when community, culture, and fun come together — and this event proved exactly that.

At our @geyserfund workshop still, KnowledgeBit by @theeasternman emerged as the second project. KnowledgeBit turns Ugandan classrooms into Bitcoin-powered learning spaces where students earn sats for completing class quizzes. Built in Kampala and already tested with real 1/2

🟧 Bitcoin Space won our @geyserfund workshop. You might not know @dennis_kasagga yet but you've probably seen his work. He painted @Juicyb_shop, the juice shop where Ugandans get their first sats over a cup of mango juice. x.com/Juicyb_shop/st… He painted Hamza Delicious Snacks, where the walls say "Bitcoin Accepted" before the snacks menu does. x.com/BitcoinKampala… He painted Bitcoin Starlight School, Bugiri — the school that almost closed, that Bitcoin rebuilt room by room. x.com/BrindonMwiine/… Bitcoin Space is what happens when you stop arguing about Bitcoin and start painting it into your community. Murals. Posters. QR codes. Real spaces where ordinary Ugandans meet bitcoin face-to-face. Every wall Dennis paints is Bitcoin Kampala's mission moving forward. His success is our success. Today, For the 1st time in conjuction with @geyserfund we held our 1st Btc Crowdfunding Workshop at the Satoshi hub in Kampala bringing together the #Btc community in Uganda. @BitcoinKampala @BitDevsKLA @NowarugabaG, @Monica_Ka14, @EuniceNakiirya @Earknee_pro, @JohnsonMakmot

At start of day @JohnsonMakmot took us through an introduction session about Btc - history, types of wallets, bitcoin mining, misconceptions, differences between fiat and Btc. This was essentially for the students that didn't know about #Bitcoin. @BitcoinKampala @geyserfund

@BrindonMwiine shared his inspiring experiences with @geyserfund highlighting the need for students to always build proof of work on social media, tagging prominent #btc communities. He further emphasized upload of detailed and clear descriptions of their projects on Geyser.

Last week we joined the @Makerere students & merchants brought together by @bitcoin_muk to talk about @geyserfund. We broke down the opportunities to jumpstart their ideas using @geyserfund We had people pitch their ideas for community projects and we are listing the top 3 ideas on geyser soon! It’s awesome to see many great ideas alive through crowdfunding.

Years of intentional root-building through Bitcoin education at the university, and now the @bitcoin_muk (Students’ Club) is breaking through the surface. Students come from all over the country to the biggest university. They are an important part of mass Bitcoin adoption when they go back home. Congratulations on the official launch on X. 🇺🇬Highlights from the Lightning Developer Bootcamp in Kampala!⚡️ This Bootcamp brought builders, developers, and enthusiasts together to level up Africa’s Bitcoin ecosystem. Some Key Highlights you missed: 🔥 7 teams. 1 hackathon. Pure builder energy. 🔥 Ideas flying, code shipping, problems getting solved in real time. 🔥 A solo female dev took on full teams and came 2nd. 🔥Sats were earned (shoutout @GorillaSats & @BitDevsKLA). 🔥 First Bitcoin Club at Makerere University unlocked. 🔥 Builders walked in curious walked out dangerous.
