@PackBagPoints I don’t loan my bitcoin. I’m just saying IF you’re going to do it anyway. Why not more bitcoin rather than STRC 🤷🏼♂️
Conservative is fair though I guess. Basically a sort of carry trade at that point. Collect the margin.

@BitcoinBugsy Now who’s the degen wanting to max lev a loop to buy more bitty?
But yes, that’s one good option. I just prefer the slightly more conservative approach to it. *granted this is still not “conservative”.

I have a reasonably significant, but not massive exposure to $STRC. About $100K spread between Roth IRA, HSA and a business brokerage account. I've also put a little in my kid's ROTH IRAs.
But...
I'll probably be selling it all by October.
Why?
The issue is you're either a Bitcoin bull or not. If you're not a BTC bull or you think Saylor is going to eventually blow up with this, then you don't buy it. Fair, not gonna hate you for that viewpoint.
But if you ARE a Bitcoin bull. Then, why would I leave $100K in STRC to make $11K a year instead of throwing it back into Bitcoin to make $20K or $50K or $100K in the next year?
For me, STRC is a short term way to earn a better rate than leaving my dry powder in cash. The risk is worth the 3X yield in my mind. But the real risk is that Bitcoin rips goes to $100K or $120K and now you're behind by owning STRC instead of bitty.
I hope STRC makes it and lasts for awhile. I will plan to use it every bear if it does.
An interesting move I've talked about before is if you are a Bitcoin bull, and a Saylor bull, then buy Bitcoin. Borrow against it at 4-5%, use that money to buy STRC and get 11% and use your spread to DCA more into BTC.
Stop thinking so 1 dimensionally and make your money work for you if you have a thesis.

OOF - This didn’t age well.

MSTY - THE GREATEST INCOME PRODUCT EVER? I break down the INSANE mechanics behind the YieldMax MSTY ETF - the most aggressive, brilliantly engineered Bitcoin volatility siphon on Wall Street. $MSTY is generating 100+% headline yields from Saylor's BITCOIN NUCLEAR REACTOR.

I think the best part of the @TheBitcoinConf for me was when I met this guy who was only there because of a rent a human.
Some Claude Bot hired him to walk around the conf with meta glasses and film everything for him for “research”.
Guy knew nothing about Bitcoin. Was just there to make $100 (his Claude boss found a free ticket for him). I forgot to ask if Claude paid for the glasses or if he already had them.
We are early.

@BitcoinBugsy haha yeah those ppl are really something ngl 🤣
i think the smart ones rotate their profits from the tradfi ponzi into crypto once they realise nvidia wont go to 200 trillion but we live in interesting times
English

@BitcoinBugsy imo defi coins like uni aave link etc. will get taken over by tradfi once its easy for them to throw billions at it, it will be a few % of their portfolio but it will be enough to send these to the moon
English

@BitcoinBugsy if bitcoin reaches 32 trillion then yea captain obvious thats literally what i meant, and do you reall think bitcoin goes there but all shitcoins stay low? thats just ridiculous but we will see who is right
English

@BitcoinBugsy i would love bitcoin to move like that but we have to be realistic the marketcap of bitcoin is very serious at this point a single guy can only do so much ex: saylor
but i would love to see bitcoin go straight to a milly cuz people woke up and realised FIAT is worthless
