We're quite fortunate to have @saylor in this timeline. He took the time to understand the current situation around BIP110 and is writing about the importance of Bitcoin staying neutral and permissionless. We couldn't really ask for more. In a pod with @PeterMcCormack a few years back, I posited that if in the next "Blocksize War" Saylor ended up on the other side, it would be quite painful. I'm happy to see that's not the case!

I trusted Bitcoin Core to do the right thing, I viewed Core as rigid and extremely difficult to change, if it did change I assumed it would be in a conservative careful incremental balanced approach.
That trust has been broken and will never return.
This is good for bitcoin.
