@JohnHuber72 These puzzles are fun. I remembered the answer but reading the incorrect one made me double take and think through it again. Deception is easy without critical thinking.
@iFit why do I have to log in and reset my damn settings each week? This is the 3rd time I’ve had to log in in as many weeks. I’d replace you in an instant if I could. This experience has been awful
@iFit why do I have to sign into my damn machine every week? This is a hassle, especially since you require I type my password and can’t use a quick login like Netflix or Hulu. I’d replace you if I could at this point.
@OrionSeven It’s not engaging at all. I don’t like that Leah is in it. She referred to Kenobi in ep IV without any familiarity that she’s building now. Kenobi with hand to hand skills we’ve never seen before? After 10 years isolated?
@OrionSeven@hbomax It’s my first week with HBOMax, been experiencing it on my iPhone and LG TV. Honestly, I just thought it was their SOP. All services and interfaces seem to be playing catch-up to Netflix still.
@akosnitzky@iFit Thank you, frustrating that @iFit won’t acknowledge the problem that we all know exists. Really poor CX considering the monthly premium
@bernhardsson Not extreme, treating each service as a public service keeps security simpler and tight. Some compute is vpc-less (lambda) already. My only comment would be to make sure service to service coupling is really needed, events and queues can help with SOA decoupling.
If I'm building a backend with multiple services in 2022 is it worth just going all-in and run everything on the public internet and with service to service encryption? (and no VPC etc) – or is that too extreme?
@UdiDahan@virtualDDD Just listened, you mentioned reading about business domain around products and to avoid reinventing the wheel here. What do you recommend?
Hey twitter, I'm going to be doing a @virtualDDD presentation in a month or two and wanted to know what you'd like me to cover, or what specific questions you'd like answered.
Please reply to this tweet with your thoughts and/or "like" a reply to vote for it.
Thanks :-)
@OrionSeven If you don’t buy the domain, are you really the founder of a startup? Domain and business cards first. May I recommend the title ‘entrepreneur’?
If you hadn’t guessed the Wheel of Time series is growing on me. As a huge fan of the books the first few episodes .. challenged me 😂 But I like a lot of what they are doing so I can live with it. 😀
@imightbemary Agreed! I love mentoring and growing teams, that’s why I went into tech management, not to be a place holder in an org chart. When parts of my team are high functioning, I get to focus elsewhere.
Every so often I see a Twitter thread where a new manager asks for advice, and inevitably, someone in the comments below says something to the effect of, "hire awesome people, listen to them and get out of their way"
Let me tell ya, this is not advice. It's wishful thinking
