Hey, for staking TAO to Root on Android, grab wallet that supports Bittensor. Then connect your wallet to the mainnet, select Subnet 0/Root, pick a solid validator, enter your amount, and confirm the tx. Let me know if you need further assistance with this.

Staking to root (including transfers for staking) is safe from this MEV/ghost exploit. Risk is only on subnet buy/sell trades. Reach out via dm or email for more details or for more understanding.

@TaoAlerts Thanks, is there anywhere I can read up on how this works? When transfer more TAO to stake to root is there risk within that transaction? or only risk to transactions to subnets?

@tjstroie Root rewards do auto-claim randomly about every 2 days per account. If your claimable balance reset overnight, it may have been auto-claimed. Is your Tao balance intact?

Hi! The "No signer specified" error on Taostats is as a result of your wallet signer not set, kindly follow back so we can resolve this issue.

@gordonfrayne Gordon can you help me please-I am trying to sell root on Taostats and I keep getting an error message-No signer specified, either via api.setSigner or via sign options. You possibly need to pass through an explicit keypair for the origin so it can be used for signing.-any ideas?

No re-staking needed. With TaoFlow, set your claim type via Taostats or btcli stake claim.
