France Crypto Kidnapping Case (€400K): On April 13, 2026, in France (Burgundy) four masked men broke into a crypto entrepreneur’s home early in the morning they already knew he had crypto and targeted him directly they tied him up, beat him brutally and demanded around €400K in crypto But his time locked wallet had a 7-day delay, so they couldn’t get money immediately. they escalated by kidnapping family members They kidnapped his partner and their 11 year old son. they took them to a hotel near Paris and kept them hostage The father was tied up but remained at home and contacted police directly The next morning, special forces GIGN raided the location. Both the mother and child were rescued safely and without injury. Seven suspects were arrested, but age details are not widely confirmed There was no ransom paid in the end.
