For anyone interested about the truth: Adam Back is absolutely, overtly and veritably lying about me *ever* supporting BIP110, or even being "a fence sitter" about it. I have always strongly, clearly and unequivocally opposed any similar fork proposal since the very earliest suggestions. I have always been, and remain, consistently opposed to: - using consensus rules to tackle specific types of onchain spam, - defensively addressing any kind of "illegal data" moral panic in any possible way (mempool policies included), - enforcing any controversial consensus change (including the ones I agree with, unlike this one) without clear full-ecosystem agreement. It's a bit unfortunate that a very influential voice in the industry is lying about me, since I have a smaller reach to debunk him. Maybe some of you can help me by spreading the correction. Thanks.

Hi everyone, this is Lee’s son Shane sitting with his brother Ken. We want to give you an update on how he’s doing. We're also asking for a little help finding older photos and videos. An update on my Dad's status: My Dad’s been in a skilled nursing facility for the last handful of months after more strokes. He's unable to speak or communicate beyond thumbs-up or thumbs-down hand gestures. I asked him if we could write on here to let folks know what's happening with him and he said yes. He's cut off from the world, and barring a miracle he's not coming back online. That's painful for everyone, most of all him. But he's comfortable and they're taking care of him, although he doesn't like the food very much. He's being represented by the people who'd been helping him with physical therapy for most of 2025. He had a lot of good things to say about them, and they seem to be doing a good job of representing his interests. Ken and I both live across the country from the facility where he's living. We've been stopping in to see him about once a month. We wish it could be more. His spirits seem good when we see him. I'm sorry that it's taken us months to write this and let you know what's happening. It's been hard. This website and the relationships he built on here over the years were very important to him, and I know that some of you cared for him and respected him deeply. I'm sorry to have left you in limbo for these past months. --- If you'd like to help: Going forward we want to put together archival material for friends, fans, and loved ones. Even though he's been forced to take a big step back from the world we want to preserve his memory and his work. We're also putting together photos and photo albums to bring to him. If you have links to old photos or videos of his, especially personal ones, please post them in the replies or DM them to us. For some reason we can't find any audio recordings of his shows on Sputnik, and a lot of his material was deleted from YouTube years ago, so other than his Flickr and his Twitter we're left with surprisingly little for how prolific he was.
