Buff melee. Buff Daredevil. Buff Ironfist. Buff this buff that. This is a hero "SHOOTER" people like this do not understand if this game was melee dominated it would be the death of it. There is a good reason fighter genre games are highly respected skill-wise. But they are not successful. If you want your gameplay to be melee ONLY and you are always complaining about how you can get SHOT in a SHOOTER game, there is plenty of fighting games where no one will shoot at you, go play tekken, streetfighter, 2xko. Whatever makes you happiest. This will never be a melee dominated game. And melee heroes should never be too strong.

Move LCS to Chicago or go remote for it
Teams move to Illinois (cheaper), more road shows to build fan bases regionally

It’s 2026. Teams that practice with lower ping, have more ranked players on their server, and have multiple trainee teams in the building are beating teams who practice on higher ping, less players on the competitive server, and 1 team in the building. Fans are still surprised.

I am humbled and blessed to be working with some of the most talented and dedicated people in the esports industry on this project. This launch has been 13 months in the making.
As the President of Esports Operations, my goal is to legitimize esports to a point in parents minds that it is considered alongside other sports as a healthy place for their children to develop and grow.
We will win medals, we will represent our country in the largest esports competitions, but that is just the shiny tip of the spear for a 30 year pursuit of legitimacy for our activity.
