@YanniCasts It’s gotta start at the Riot level too. Bring back the street team, get into high schools. Team up with PlayVS or something to incentivize the high schools in it already to play

@DShyKnock Honestly I’d love to have them start going back to using other events as road shows. Pax, Dreamhack etc would lower costs so much

and to be clear: I do like franchising when done right We did it wrong and have not course corrected at all; mentioned in my video today that I want LoL at events like dreamhack and it feels like the only way to get there at this point is blowing up the entire system because otherwise the same opinions that blocked it in the first place will get in the way Will any of this happen? of course not... @robert_skinnion @CourtalonX I can’t really comment on it (as I’ve never heard of the offer since I’ve been running the program) but I know the admin is focused on engagement and retention (and we’ve been exceeding KPI’s set by admin) Always happy to talk about what we’re doing over at Assumption

@BixLeGG @DShyKnock Yeah it got much worse feeling wise once it was actually in place. Initially was very exciting with some warnings that we had to be careful

@DShyKnock @PatchMedia the initial buy in to the idea was strong, it QUICKLY soured once details of what the companies engaging in franchising were selling as part of the deal. I think the large issue is that expectations and promises fair out weighed deliverable metrics. So it became hope + pray

I think I now understand how the OGs in esports felt when the initial franchising details came out Screaming internally that this is a terrible idea but praying that it somehow works even when you know it won't because the negative blowback afterwards ends up hurting everyone

Caveats: - This build is HIGHLY experimental - It is not meant to be used in every game but it has situational uses - Specifically excels in games where you have melee carries, solid AP duo carry, some go button, champs who can benefit from early volatility / tempo cheating - I don't actually know if Diana is the BEST for this build but it has felt very good so far - This build is not a carry Diana build although you can carry games with it, your goal is to use your early tempo to snowball the map for your team The Build (Assuming 0/0/0): 1st Base (~3:15) Aether Wisp 2nd Base (~4:30): Amp Tome 3rd Base (~7:30) Shurelya's + Boots - JOAT active 4th Base (~10:30) Blasting Wand - GS Active 5th Base (~13:30) Staff of Flowing Water .. .. Xth base (~19:30) Dusk & Dawn The way it works is: Aery gives your allies a shield when you use Shurelya's on them, which procs Staff of Flowing Water on both you and your ally giving you +40AP 15AH for 6 seconds. This means at the start of the fight, where Diana loads most of her damage, you will have ~175 AP at 13 minutes in the game and with good play you give an AP carry +40AP 15AH as well You also get your 1st item spike 2-2.5min faster than any other jungler on average, and if you play properly you will be able to use that advantage to secure grubs (or dragon if still up) & force winning fights with your teammates lv6 People do NOT expect the catch range of shurelya's on Diana so early in the game and your 2nd item hits at 13:30, while enemy jg is on 1 item and a component or two By the time you hit DnD you've smoothed the curve and you can just finish the build like normal with Riftmaker/Zhonyas/Raba etc Super experimental and changes her playstyle a bit but I think it could legit be a cook
