Attention David Foster Wallace fans. My mentor, Steve Snider has written a behind the scenes account of the book cover he designed for Infinite Jest and it includes this tidbit.
“That spelling error was made by a young designer who prepared the mechanical, the art which includes instructions for the printer. Trivia fans may be interested to know that the young designer, Biz Stone, went on to achieve international fame, not for his typo, but as a co-founder and the patent holder of Twitter.”

If you were recruiting people to build a social media creator fund, who would you start with? I am talking with friends that have had business exits and family offices as well about this idea. With that in mind who would you recruit next?
1- Chairman: Chairman of the board: Go after the first 100-million-dollar or greater check writer, sell them into being the chairman of the board and the get all the friends of that person to join.
2- Attorneys CPA: Attorneys and CPAs: Because they are the best at vetting who you should or should not be involved with. Reach out to as many as possible.
3- Sales: Salespeople to sell everyone else into joining and having them ensure the project was well funded and the story told with a strong business end in mind. Salespeople so good they bring in their capital and they can even sell the Chairman of the board.
4- Top creators: Creators on X that show value already on their accounts - Trust what you see.
