Today was a weird day. Hard to explain. Wife asked me if it was, “melancholy”. It wasn’t. But it was absolutely the most “reflection” I have ever done on a birthday. I thought about family and friends that are no longer with us, and how much I miss them. I thought about what’s to come, and how frighteningly exciting the prospect of all that is. More than anything, I thought about my kids and how lucky I am to be a father. Bottom line, I’m really trying to make a conscious effort to live in every minute and moment for the rest of this ride.
