BREAKING: Michigan commit Yaxel Lendeborg is withdrawing from the NBA Draft and will play for Dusty May and the Wolverines next season, he told @on3.
Lendeborg was the No. 1 ranked player in the portal and averaged 17.7 PTS, 11.4 REB, & 4.2 AST per game this season at UAB.

What Dusty May has done in assembling a roster at this level, with most of the main components out of the transfer portal, is impressive. Hard to do, even with resources. But let's not call others "lazy, stupid and factually wrong" and then call the portal additions "leftovers."

The discourse around this is so funny to me. Michigan fans constantly use the school’s academics to try to “insult” other schools but when they’re asked if they went there OR if someone can be a fan without going there it’s “we don’t care if you went here or not!” No shade (this time, I swear!), just observations lol

On this app, I saw more than a few folks call Tom Izzo overrated after our recent loss to UConn because MSU hasn’t won a title since 2000. MSU gets good players, but not anywhere near the caliber of the players on this list. Our last lottery pick was Jaren Jackson in 2018. Overall since 2000, we’ve only had two players who went in the top 5 of the NBA draft.
