@JJ_McCullough Regionalism appears to biggest problem for Canada.

@JJ_McCullough It’s a strength and weakness all at the same time for Canada. Culture matters and that’s your culture. You have to embrace it to promote cohesion. Once you have cohesion you can start making political decisions that benefit all Canadians and not just regions.

The wild thing about the "scandal" of the Air Canada CEO is that his crime was purely ideological, as enforced by politicians and media. He broke a "taboo" in a literal sense — something that wasn't of any practical importance, but had spiritual significance to the elite.

@CBSMornings Good question! #SandBranchTX Why haven’t the progressives and Democrats who run the City of Dallas incorporated Sand Branch?

“We’re always told that we don’t have enough money for schools or for health care or for our veterans, but there’s always enough money to bomb people on the other side of the world”: Texas State Rep. James Talarico, the Democratic Senate nominee for the Lone Star State, said Texans on both sides of the political spectrum are worried about the Trump administration starting a forever war with Iran. “A lot of us are mystified that we’re starting another forever war, instead of focusing on lowering costs for working people.”

@MCGOP_CA @grok How about tax everyone less? Instead of billions of taxpayer money going to the not so high speed rail?

This might be hard for someone with dyslexia to understand, but income taxes are only 1 form of taxation in California. @grok can you explain all the other taxes in California and how CA ranks? Use simple words so he can understand, nothing over 3 syllables.
Governor Gavin Newsom@CAgovernor

For the bottom 40% of families, California taxes are LOWER than states like Florida and Texas. In fact, 16 other states tax LOW-WAGE earners MORE than California taxes our HIGH-WAGE earners. The evidence is clear, and the numbers don't lie.

@TeamKatiePorter How… are you going to do ALL this? You’re just another typical politician willing to say anything to get elected. It’s funny you started with Trump. He’s an atypical politician that has delivered on more promises than any politician in a very long time.

California deserves a Governor who: ✔️Has never taken a dime of corporate PAC money ✔️ Isn’t a billionaire ✔️ Will fight for regular people, because she understands what families are facing.

@ericswalwell @CA_Dem @grok I’m not a fan of @Ericswalwell, but if there’s no evidence of a romantic relationship, for the love of country, can we stop lying about it?! Let Eric’s bad policies be Eric’s downfall.

Nazi Germany had concentration camps. Stalin’s Soviet Union had gulags. And now, Donald Trump’s America has “detention centers”. ICE is set to spend another 38 BILLION DOLLARS to expand detention centers across our country, while hard working Americans struggle to get by.

@ericswalwell 4/ Remember when @ericswalwell went head to head with @benshapiro during a congressional hearing last year. Eric thought he was going to get a great video clip for his campaign donations. Nope! Backfire.

@JJ_McCullough This goes bothering ways. Conservatives do the same thing to liberals. I think we’re all more moderate than we think. That doesn’t work in a sound bite, click bait, and Twitter world.

@JJ_McCullough Both. He’s direct which then is amplified to become obnoxious when he makes a valid point to liberals. Agreeing with him feels like a personal referendum on all that they hold dear. This then feels like a personal attack to them which further amplifies their dislike of him.

I’ve made tons of videos about Canadian politics and I read thousands of comments from across the spectrum. One thing I’ve noticed is that a lot of people really hate Pierre personally. Obviously many disagree with his politics, but many just find him deeply obnoxious as a man.

@ianbremmer 2/ In 1984, athletes like Carl Lewis weren’t silent because they lacked views, but because the moment wasn’t about expressing them. When that distinction fades, the event loses some of what made people care.

@ianbremmer 1/ I agree it’s patriotic to criticize your government, and that right should be protected. My discomfort isn’t with dissent, but with venue. The Olympics are one of the few shared national moments we have.

one of the things i most love about the united states is that it’s patriotic to criticize your government when you disagree with it. yes, even if you’re an athlete representing my country at the olympics. try that as a russian or chinese…

@ericswalwell These are the types of policies that created ordering kiosks all over California. Now no one has a starter job that was never intended to pay a living wage.

@ericswalwell 5/ We need investment in practical education that leads to real jobs, not feel-good programs with no market value. Slogans may sound nice, but bad policy lasts far longer than a campaign.

As Governor, I’ll make sure companies that value their workers pay less — and those that don’t? The ones that pay executives 1000x more than the heart and soul of the company? They’ll pay more. #sanjose
