Nothing is more special than Sam Kavanagh’s colours winning at his home track, 1 year to the day of his passing. Watching it with Kelly and his closest friends is a small racing gift I’ll never forget.

I am extremely proud to have trained Wrathful to victory today and a special congratulations must go to Kelly Fawcett. Kelly is a wonderful mother and was the partner of the late Sam Kavanagh who previously trained Wrathful. Kelly is an equine therapist and has done a lot of work with this horse as well as a few others in our stable.
