@prestonstew_ This is a dumb take. You don’t think adversaries are able to piece together reality and game out possibilities?

Not to overreact, but an American President calling NATO a paper tiger is probably the kind of thing we'll look back on as a turning point in the alliance.
A lot of agreements are built on the perception of strength, the idea of what could come together if needed. Saying there's nothing there pretty quickly strips NATO of a lot of it's power.
If an alliance isn't as strong as hoped, then we build it up, reform or leave. Publicly announcing to our adversaries that NATO is weaker than they think only benefits those who wish to do us harm.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang in new interview on orbital datacenters:
"The challenge of course is that cooling, you can't take advantage of conduction and convection, so you can only use radiation, and radiation requires very large surfaces, but that's not an impossible things to solve. There's a lot of space in space. We're going to go explore it. We're already radiation hardened. We have Cuda in satellites around the world. In the meantime, we're going to explore what is the architecture of datacenters look like in space. It'll take years, but that's ok. I got time."

@AmbJohnBolton Why does everyone on X say dumb shit all the time?

Hear me out.
Trump called out Germany, South Korea, and Japan, for not willing to help with the Strait of Hormuz. What do these nations have in common? They are where we have the largest standing military presence outside the US.
I think Trump is not just setting up a withdrawal from NATO, I think he is setting up a withdrawal of our military presence around the globe, and will eventually begin the process of consolidating US MIL presence to the Western Hemisphere, once we are done with Iran and the war in Ukraine is over.
I think the end goal is normalized relations with Russia and China, and thus the permanent end to the Cold War that never really ended. This is only possible by removing US military presence off of China and Russia’s doorstep, as well as ending Russian/Chinese meddling in our hemisphere, via places like Venezuela and Cuba, which is already happening.
What if the US, Russia, and China, just agreed to stop the espionage, weapons of mass destruction, proxy wars, and meddling in each other’s regions? What if the superpowers were on the same side instead of against each other?
It’s possible, and things seem to be inching in that direction. Russia and China are losing their influence in the Western Hemisphere, and Trump is posturing like he is going to remove our presence in the Eastern Hemisphere.
I think we are witnessing a restructure of the global order, and the global “alliances” as we know them are about to shift dramatically.

The Department of War is populated by literally tens of thousands of mid-grade officers whose singular job in life is to write and continuously update a plethora of operations orders that cover every imaginable contingency involving the US military, down to the tiniest detail.
If you can imagine it, there is an OPORD for it.
Never tell me a US military mission lacked adequate planning. It's a lie.

There’s so many people wanting me to comment on Tucker because I was a guest on his show that got over 20 million views.
So I will.
Tucker’s staff and Tucker were some of the nicest most kind people to me behind the scenes. I was nervous and they all really made me feel at home.
With that being said, I’m not sure what’s happening with him. So many of his guests are certifiably nuts. Some of the things being said is nuts. One recent guest was so fcked up on drugs, his eyes were spinning like a Vegas slot machine. I have no idea where this will end - but it’s not going to be good

I've long suspected Bitcoin is a giant Ponzi scheme and now I'm hearing tales of woe that make me fear I'm right.

At a recent Mar-a-Lago gathering, Trump informally asked about 25 Republican donors and allies whether they would prefer Marco Rubio or JD Vance as the GOP presidential candidate in 2028.
According to attendees, the room overwhelmingly responded in favor of Rubio, with loud cheering when his name was mentioned.

@Mylovanov It’s not that hard to make drones. Ukraine is making that many because they are in an existential war, and honestly, 7M is low given that condition. If the US were in a similar position it’d be making at least an order of magnitude more.

This is a worrying moment.
The US President publicly dismissing a UK military deployment with:
“We don’t need people that join wars after we’ve already won.”
For decades Britain’s strength came from being America’s closest and most trusted ally.
Now we’re being told not to bother showing up.
How did we get here?
