If you live in a northern state? Winters are going to suck even harder.
You will get an extra hour of darkness in the mornings.
What they should do is make Standard Time permanent and trash Day Light Savings time once and for all.

Men’s lives are uninterrupted?!?!?!?! So all the overtime hours and all the days when we still work even when we are sick. Setting aside wants and desires because it’s not in the budget and living in work clothes as your main attire. Listening to the wants and needs of your wife and kids and working to make those needs happen. Shielding the family from some harsh life realities to the best of your ability. Living with the stress of making them feel everything is ok even when you’re not sure yet how to be sure that it is. Our lives are not only interrupted, they are set aside. If a man can make the kind of money where his wants can be fullfilled he also fulfills wants of his family at the same time. So don’t give me this bullshit about uninterrupted!

Institutional investors are being blamed for everything happening in housing right now, but people forget what happened during the financial crisis. When real estate markets were rolling over, institutional capital was one of the only major bids left supporting the market. Without it, things could have been far worse for average Americans.
That’s why I don’t like policies designed to push institutions out of housing. It’s government trying to manipulate markets, and history shows that usually ends badly. The flow of pension funds, sovereign wealth, and institutional capital is a foundational part of the economy, and many of the people proposing these bills have never actually lived through a true real estate down cycle.
