@Blak_dice You overlook that the "provide" & "protect" idea is usually just another angle in the whole men controling women scheme in patriarchy.
Men are expected to provide because women are not expected (read: wanted) to be independent.
Apparently both men and women find a “sense of humour” attractive in romantic partners, but they define it very differently. Women think someone has a sense of humour when the person can make them laugh, men define a sense of humour as someone who laughs at their jokes
@Kirloulou@moniza_hossain Women are caregivers. Men are protectors/providers. I think that is what you are trying to say is the default sociological norm. Not saying either sex can't do the other. This is the most traditional outlook
