I’m still without words that @BlakeBundy2029 as a freshman and first year pole vaulter has qualified for State. He is studying the sport and putting in all the work. @powerthrew and I are so impressed. Congratulations son!

Blake Bundy takes 2nd in the Pole Vault in 3.74m, Qualifying for the State Championships at Eastern Illinois Next Weekend ! This is the first time an athlete has qualified in the Pole Vault for H-F in over 20 Years and Bundy is only a Freshmen! Cesar Evans ties for 3rd !

Never thought we’d be pole vault parents but @BlakeBundy2029 loves it and is naturally talented at it. He cleared 12’3 which makes him the #2 freshman in 3A. Congrats son. Next up the F/S record. With @powerthrew

Quarter 3 grades are in and @BlakeBundy2029 got straight A’s again. He’s also being honored tomorrow for being student of the quarter. Oh and he turned 15! We’re so proud of him.

Sports achievements are cool, but I will always be most impressed by my kids’ work ethic in the classroom and their character. We are so proud of @BlakeBundy2029. He was honored as student of the Quarter for his exemplary work, leadership & kindness in his Photography class.

F/S Conference Champion! Congrats to @BlakeBundy2029 for his first conference gold. With a PR to top it off! This puts him as #7 freshman in pole vault in the entire state. Got a bronze in the 4x8 too. #proudmama #whowouldvethought #polevault

Semester grades are in and @willBundy_91 showed out! Straight A’s in all honors and 3 AP classes is an amazing start to his junior year. @BlakeBundy2029 worked just as hard, getting straight A’s to start his freshman year. They are STUDENT-Athletes. So proud. @powerthrew

Proud to introduce my middle son, freshman at HF to ‘X’. He had a great first high school game by adding kicker to his DB resume. @BlakeBundy2029 not only kicked but got the tackle. He brings so much energy to the field. @powerthrew is a proud papa too.
