@blanehoward @MikeBrice Outside pitch was more than an inch off the plate. Not .5. You can’t be big on both sides then get mad at the batter for questioning it. Hitting is very hard. It’s impossible if the pitcher can stretch the zone on any side.

@MattVerderame At least there it’s consistent. 2 weeks ago in Nashville it was 80° on Sunday at the SEC Championship Game. Next day it snowed for 4 hours and the low was 24°.

@BenBrandonHoops We keep running into juggernaut teams that we just can’t compete with. Should have beat Texas Tech last year but we weren’t beating Florida. Closest we came was Baylor. Baylor Duke UCONN Arizona All loaded with talent that we couldn’t keep up with.

What a really fun season by a really good team with our best player ever. Sad it is over, but I accepted our fate when the bracket came out. As I said earlier this year, we’ve had a lot of really good teams in this decade. I think it’s fair for this fanbase to be ready and ask for a great/elite team. How does that happen next year? 1) Take 10 with 4 frontcourt players. Not 8 or 9 with just 3 frontcourt players. 2) Get your plan A portal prospects and not settle for plan C. They did that in the 2024 offseason. They did not in the 2025 offseason. 3) A blank check for the return of Meleek Thomas and Billy Richmond.

So thankful that Darius Acuff, Jr is forever a Hog! Best player Arkansas has ever had, which is saying something!

It’s obvious AZ was better than us tonight. Arkansas needs to start recruiting some size to go with our great guards. Gotta learn to play better defense too. Size would help that. Still incredible to be back in the upper echelon of College BB again. 5 Sweet Sixteens in 6 years!

What a pleasure it’s been to watch Acuff and Thomas this year. Acuff was incredible to watch. I’ll always get to say I watched him lead us to an SEC Tournament Championship! Thank you Brazile, Ewin, Richmond, Wagner and all the other players who made this year so much fun.
