Cus there’s going to be hotels, bars, and apartments I believe all included in the stadium/area development

Doesn't erase the fact that you're at best kicking the can down the road 5 years just to start to recoup your investment, and in the interim public programs and our most at-risk will pay the price

I know it was a big factor in the first proposed sight. Many city apartment buildings are majority owned by a handful of corporate landlords that can effectively fix rent prices

Your reminder as to why KC voters aren't being allowed to vote on the Royals stadium plan. Elected representatives already know their constituents oppose it. But local leaders want it (and the perks that go with it), and they want taxpayers to pay for their luxury play palace.
